Senior Portraits – Julie

It’s been a little while since I’ve been able to photograph a senior, and y’all…. coming back to that with Julie’s session was just perfect!!!

Julie, you are so beautiful on the inside & out! I truly enjoyed getting to hang out with you & your mom as we ventured from Downtown Houston to Kingwood for your portraits!

We started out downtown at Julie’s school, Incarnate Word Academy. We may not have been able to access the new fancy side of the building due to continued construction, but Julie, you made this main entrance look good!

I just can’t get over how mature & poised you are. I’m pretty sure I was way more of a hot mess when I was graduating high school!

After our little walk along the bayou, we headed back to Kingwood for photos at St. Martha Catholic Church. It was such a perfect backdrop for photos, and so perfect because it holds so much meaning in Julie’s life. Bringing in personal touches through locations or details makes my sappy photographer heart SO happy!

One of those personal touches was this guitar… these shots almost didn’t happen, but Julie’s sweet sister drove it up to us & I am SO glad she did!

Julie, thank you so much for spending the afternoon with me & letting me take your senior pictures!! I am so excited for all that the rest of your senior year holds for you, and for your next step at college! Congrats!!

Senior Portraits – Jazzlyn

Y’all… just wait till you see this session! Jazzlyn is graduating from SFA, and I am telling y’all, she’s so pretty! The best thing is, behind that gorgeous smile is a strong, smart woman. She was one of my Orientation Leaders when I worked at SFA, and it’s been so incredible to watch her grow into such a leader.

Jazzlyn, you were seriously knocking it out of the park from the very first shot, so I (clearly) had a hard time narrowing down my favorites!!! I am proud of you and excited for you to walk that stage at graduation!!

Y’all know I love my ring shots, and getting to photograph Jazzlyn’s ring on the axe handle she received at Orientation Leader retreat this past summer was a special moment for me! (Yes, I know I’m sappy but that’s fine with me!)

So. Stunning.

Senior Portraits – Candyce

I’m so excited to share this senior portrait session with y’all!! Candyce is an amazing SFA alumna(!!) & I had such a blast taking her senior portraits last week.

This girl was seriously killing it y’all… I mean right off the bat just killing it!

I LOVE this shot, and it was probably about the 4th one I took!

Candyce, you could be an ad for SFA!

Candyce is not only beautiful, but she’s smart & was involved in some incredible organizations. It makes me so happy to get to celebrate graduating seniors who really do have the whole package!

This is a favorite for sure!!

I love getting to see how my grads decorate their caps, and Candyce, yours was amazing! I love everything about it – the color, the design & especially the message!!
