I am a wife, mother & photographer in Kingwood, Texas, and I still can’t believe that I get to be my husband’s wife & the mommy to two beautiful and funny little girls. (I may be sliiiiightly biased, but I’m pretty sure my Peanut & Pumpkin are the cutest little ones ever.)

Other important things about me: I hate cockroaches, I LOVE food (minus mayo – gross.), I am a huge football fan, I drink coffee pretty much everyday (Amen & Hallelujah for our Nespresso machine!), I am a serious bargain shopper, if I know the words to a song that is playing I can’t help but sing (sorry!), I miss my sweet grandparents everyday, to my husband’s dismay I LOVE throw pillows, I am constantly amazed by God and His plan for me, I am a Texas girl with a heart for San Diego, and I wouldn’t be anything without my family.
I worked in higher education (specifically new student orientation) for years and years & loved being able to come along side students & families as they navigated a major life moment. Being able to take all of those years of event facilitation & caring for people & combining that with my photography to make a wedding day even more special for my brides & grooms is one of my favorite things ever.
I love being able to meet incredible people to photograph the moments of their lives – from big ones like wedding days to simple ones like baking cookies together as a family. I believe that photographs have the power to hold love and strength in them, and I’ll never stop being thankful that I get to be the one to give that gift to my amazing clients.
Above all, I want to be someone who brings positivity, encouragement & honesty with a touch of humor to those around me. One of my favorite ways to do that (other than over a cup of coffee or glass of wine), is through sending out Light Letters to inboxes everywhere!

Ha! Yes, it can be interesting, that’s for sure… but I’ve found that the people are generally really nice and it’s nice to not have to worry about traffic!
