Picking Wildflowers

One of the reasons I love doing my Yearly Bucket List so much is that it really makes me be intentional about choosing to create simple life moments, especially with my family. Sure some of the things on the list are bigger, but a lot of them are not.

But the funny thing is, the “little” things somehow end up being my favorites! Like picking wildflowers with Peanut…

LOVE this one of my sweet girl!

I’m pretty sure these are really more weeds than wildflowers, but that didn’t matter one bit. We had fun picking them & it was quality time spent together.

Love this one too!

So proud to show me the flowers she picked (roots & all)!!

She asked me to smell the flowers with her, and I’m pretty sure my mama heart just melted right then & there.

Love love LOVE this one! I can’t say it enough how much I appreciate Max becoming a photographer in his own right. It’s such a blessing to get photos of me & my girls making memories.

Our finished product… but really, I just hope this is one of those very early memories that stays with her as she grows up. Spending time laughing in the sunshine surrounded by little flowers with a mama who loves her very very much.
