Senior Portraits – Jessica O.

Ok, y’all… I know I say this a lot, but I just LOVE photographing college seniors, and I LOVE when we are able to incorporate details that make the shoot really personal! And this shoot definitely has that!

Jessica, I loved getting to know you and taking your graduation photos! You are so nice & easy-going, and I really appreciate the way I can tell you put so much importance on family & friends.

One of the amazing personal details Jessica brought with her was this charm bracelet with a photo of her father. I love getting the close shot of Lumberjacks with their graduation gear on and putting up their “axe” – and being able to have something so special included in that shot makes it even better!

LOVE this one! Jessica, you’re beautiful!!

In addition to earning her Mathematics degree, Jessica also competed on the SFA Volleyball team – which y’all know I love as a former volleyball player myself! Even though we were up bright & early for Jessica’s senior portraits, her roommate /teammate came up to campus to jump into a few shots too.

Another thing y’all have probably caught on to is how I love to get detail shots of my seniors’ SFA ring if they have one – Jessica upped that by one and brought her Southland Conference champion ring!

I love this next set of images!

Another sweet, personal detail was this framed photo of Jessica’s dad with the phrase “Dad – forever my hero” on it – love, love, love.

Jessica wanted a natural background and feel for her images, so of course we headed over to the SFA Arboretum – nothing quite like these East Texas gardens in spring time! I have no idea what this plant is with the drapey white flowers, but gosh do I love it!

This has to be a favorite – Jessica, you are seriously so pretty! Just love your blue eyes!

Ahhhh that sweet, soft morning light was just loving Jessica!

Jessica & her sister have matching tattoos with a heart & infinity symbol, and I loved the way it peeked out over the top of her dress. When I asked her the story behind the tattoo, and found out it had family ties, I had to grab a quick shot!

Jessica, congrats again on your upcoming graduation & all you accomplished while at SFA! I wish you nothing but the best as you move on into interning & starting your career. Thank you for letting me be the one to help you commemorate this amazing time in your life!
