This past Saturday I got to hang out with one of my favorite little guys (and his parents) again, and it was too much fun!  For the last session of our Little Ones package, Lauren, Zach & Caleb made the trip to Nacogdoches. I loved getting to have them over to the house to share some breakfast before letting Caleb dig into some cake!

Poor Caleb wasn’t feeling the best – darn teething – but he was still just as sweet as ever and did so so good.

I know the whole point of a cake smash session is to just straight up destroy the cake, but part of me was a little sad about it… I mean, how adorable is this cake by Treat Me Sweet Cupcakes?!?!?

As adorable as the cake is, it’s got NOTHING on this little man! What a cutie!

Getting this series was too funny… toddler attention spans aren’t the longest & by the time we got to “E” Caleb was about ready to move on to the cake!

Time for cake!

This one just absolutely cracks me up… you never know how little ones will react to the feeling of the frosting, and Caleb’s reaction was priceless!

Love this one!

At this point, I’ve decided that if I do a cake smash session & there’s no frosting in between their toes, we probably haven’t done it right!

This one is definitely a favorite!

Happy 1st birthday, Caleb!! It has truly been a joy to get to photograph your first year, and I’ve LOVED getting to see your parents so often too! I wish you nothing but the best as you grow up, and I hope that you keep your joyous spirit & that sparkle in your big brown eyes.
