Old Landscapes & New Eyes

Nacogdoches photographer image of toddler girl and quote by Marcel Proust

One of the things I love the most about being a parent is the constant reminder of how fascinating the little things in life can be. Watching Peanut, I get to try to see everything with new eyes. It’s a little sad how at 2 years old, she’s already lost some of the wonder and awe about some things, but at the same time, there are always new sights, new sounds, new experiences that just light up her face with discovery.

And in those moments, those old landscapes become new again for me too.

I want to hear from you!
