Thanksgiving 2014

As I mentioned yesterday, we spent the week of Thanksgiving with family in Baton Rouge. We spent a lot of time relaxing and watching Peanut play with the dogs. We also spent a good amount of time outside – even if it was just in the front yard.

With the last little bit of light, we tried to get a few shots of each of us with Peanut… she was more interested in heading in to play with the puppies, but with a little bit of playing the 1-2-3-DROP! game with her, at least we got a few.

She would growl at him as he walked by, and called him a “ra-ra.” Ever since then, she gets so excited to see a tiger anywhere, and it’s pretty much adorable.

I didn’t break out the camera for Thanksgiving Day or many other times throughout the week, and I have to say it was a good mix of making these memories be forever memories, and then also just letting some of those moments sink into my soul to live out their lives there.

Again, as always, I am so incredibly thankful for this life that is mine, and mostly for the people I get to share it with. I am more than blessed.
