In our devotional the other night, I really really loved the whole message about how we can train our tongues to speak His purpose, but the second-to-last line in particular really struck me. Gary Thomas said:

Let’s learn to speak the right word in the right season to the right person.

How powerful is that!?! And it’s just so true. It’s easy to get one of those pieces right. Odds are decent that you might get 2 of them right. But getting all three of them right, at the same time? That takes some work.

Like I’ve mentioned before, you have the ability to impact others with the things you say. Imagine what impact you can have if you couple that ability with God’s heart? Immeasurable.
