Y’all… this was a good one. A full three days off to spend with family and friends. A photoshoot that was solely for me (and my brother & sister-in-law who inspired it with the ADORABLE dress they brought back from Greece for Peanut…. stay tuned this week for photos!). Sharing a meal with a houseful of people I truly truly enjoy being around. Time in the sun with Peanut splashing around in her pool.

I didn’t take a ton of pictures throughout the weekend because I was busy stuffing my face full of good food or laughing with loved ones, but I did want to share a few I took on Sunday.

Little girl LOVES the water… I’m hoping she ends up swimming like I did!!

If you haven’t noticed in the first few photos… she also loves her rubber ducky. In fact, we have multiple rubber duckies, and she loves them all!!

I love that it’s summertime and I can look out into our backyard to see this view…

Right as we were finishing up in the pool, Max’s best friend Chris arrived. It’s always such a treat to have him around, and I love seeing him playing with Peanut. He’s a talented musician, and he was drumming with Peanut on the kitchen counter… too cute.

I hope y’all had a wonderful weekend, and I hope you took a moment to think about the reason behind the holiday. I know that I am so blessed to live in a country with the freedoms we have, and that is thanks to the men and women (and their families) who give of themselves to serve.
