As I mentioned in yesterday’s post, I spent part of my weekend at an adoption event taking photos of kids who are available for adoption. It was such a wonderful experience. My husband and I have talked about the idea of potentially adopting in the future, and while I know we have a lot more discussing and praying to do before we make that decision, I was glad to be able to be a part of the process in a small small way.
Family means the world to me. I truly enjoy being with my family and thank God every day for the blessing I have been given to be able to call them mine. My heart aches knowing that so many of these kids don’t have that family experience, but I pray that the right family comes into their world and welcomes them with open arms.
If you can, take a moment to check out the Heart Gallery of Deep East Texas. If it is not in your heart to consider adoption – I ask that you at least mention the gallery to a friend or family member. These kids are great and are so deserving of a permanent home and a loving family.
What a great ministry you have, using your photography to help people. Love it!
